- August 2012:
- On October 1, 2012, Grant Aviation will open a base of operations in King Salmon. Click here for the full press release.
- On August 8, 2012, Grant Aviation will begin twice daily commuter service between the communities of Dillingham and King Salmon. Click here for the full press release.
- Grant Aviation will start weekly flights from Dutch Harbor to Atka and Nikolski in September of 2012.
- July 2012:
- Alaska Sealife Center mourns the death of rescued Beluga whale calf. Click here for details.
- June 2012:
- Grant Aviation helped the Alaska Sealife Center rescue a 2-3 day old baby beluga whale. A first for the sea life center! Click here to view a YouTube video of the baby whale. Click here to read the Sea Life Center's press release.
- Grant Aviation's Dillingham summer schedule takes effect. We also added a twice weekly direct flight between Dillingham and Bethel.
- Starting this month, Grant Aviation is running twice a day flights from Bethel to the following destinations: Akiachuk, Akiak, Atmauthluak, Kasigluk, Kwethluk, Nunapitchuk and Tuluksak.
- May 2012:
- Starting May 25, the Homer/Anchorage summer schedule starts, with an extra flight each day.
- March 2012:
- Grant Aviation puts a new Navajo on the Homer to Anchorage schedule. This could very well be the nicest Navajo in the State of Alaska.
- January 2012:
- Grant Aviation adds supplemental heaters to its entire Navajo fleet. Passengers will travel in even more comfort on those extra cold days than before.
- August 2011:
- Our last flight of the summer season for direct service between Homer and Kodiak is scheduled for Sunday, September 11.

- Starting May 1, Grant Aviation offers flightseeing trips of the Kenai Fjords National Park and Kachemak Bay State Park departing from the Homer Airport and starting at just $150 per person. Headsets provided for each passenger. Click here for more details.

- Grant Aviation celebrates 40 years of service in 2011. Grant has been in operation since 1971!
- Grant Aviation is featured in Inside Anchorage's January issue. Inside Anchorage magazine is Anchorage’s definitive city guide that helps people find the gems of Alaska's largest city.
- November 2011:

- August 2010:
- The Tustumena ferry will not be running between Homer and Kodiak from October 18, 2010 to December 12, 2010. Grant is therefore adding one Homer/Kodiak RT flight on Tuesdays to compliment our regular Friday and Sunday RT Homer/Kodiak schedule. Click here for the Homer/Kodiak flight schedule.

- As an Alaskan owned and operated airline, Grant Aviation is eligible to be a part of the Buy Alaska.com and Check Local Buy Local Programs.
- BuyAlaska.com is a program designed by UAA and the Alaska Small Business Development Center. Partners include the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and business assistance throughout Alaska.

- Check Local Buy Local is a program created from Chamber of Commerce feedback.
- Both programs invite Alaskans, visitors, and those who have always wanted to come to Alaska to search for local products and services before buying Outside!
- If every Alaskan shifted just 10% of their Outside purchases back to Alaska, the Alaska economy would be bolstered by 1.1 billion dollars and 4,400 jobs!
- Together - with a shared vision - we can make this extraordinary land an even better place to work, live or visit!
- July 2010:
- Congratulations to Grant ticket agent Jolene Ravithis. She was awarded outstanding customer service employee for the month of July by the Mystery Shopper Organization at the Ted Steven's Anchorage International Airport. The organization shops different businesses at the airport and evaluates customer service. She is our second employee to receive this award this year, Vanessa Duley won in April.
- Grant Aviation's friend in Kodiak, Andrew Airways, offers hotel, bear viewing and fishing adventure packages. Click here for details.
- June 2010:
- Grant Aviation attended the Kodiak Crab Festival Memorial weekend, meeting with hundreds of people. Click here for details about the festival.
- May 2010:
- Grant Aviation makes front page of the Peninsula Clarion Director of Stations, Jason Nunn, was interviewed by the Clarion on our expanded operations to Valdez and Kodiak. Click here for details.
- Valdez Fly-in a huge success! Grant Aviation attended in full force the Valdez May Day Fly-in & Air Show. This aviation event is Alaska's most unique fly-in and bush airplane competetion. Click here for details about the event. Click here for pictures.
- Grant Aviation starts scheduled runs to Kodiak. Starting May 14, 2010, Grant Aviation offers two scheduled flights per week to Kodiak from Homer. This will be a huge time and cost savings for those wanting to fly between Kodiak from Homer.
- April 2010:
- Grant Aviation is OAS/AMD approved. Grant Aviation is OAS (Office of Aircraft Services) now known as AMD (Aviation Management Directorate) approved. We are approved to fly government employees anywhere within the state of Alaska in our fleet of Beech King Air 200s, Cessna Caravans, Piper Navajos and Cessna 207s.
- Grant Aviation will start daily commuter service to Valdez on May 17, 2010. Grant will have three flights daily from Anchorage to Valdez.
- Grant Aviation attends Alaska Sportsman Show. Grant Aviation had a ball meeting and speaking with hundreds of people at the show. Click here for details about the event. Click here for pictures.

- Homer hires new station manager. Grant Aviation hired Deb Moseley to be the new Homer Station Manager. Click here for details.
- March 2010:
- Grant Aviation wins customer service award two years in a row! Grant's very own Anchorage based Ticket Agent, Vanessa Duley, won the Mystery Shopper Award at the Ted Stevens International Airport. Her excellent customer service impressed the judges.
- November 2009:
- Grant Aviation has moved! Grant now boards at gate L2 in the Anchorage International Airport.
